What we collect

Your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account, the video links you submit, and basic usage records (such as credit balance and transactions). Payments are handled by Stripe; we receive a customer reference but never your full card number.

How we use it

To run the service: authenticate you, process the links you submit, track credits, and handle billing and support. We do not sell your personal data.

Audio & transcripts

When a video has no captions, we download its audio only to transcribe it, then delete that audio immediately after processing. Transcripts are returned to you in your browser and are not published or shared by us.

Third parties

We rely on infrastructure and processing providers (for example our hosting provider, Stripe for payments, and a speech-to-text provider). They process data only to provide their part of the service.

Your choices

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing help@jotvox.app.
